PLEASE NOTE: By purchasing a puppy or dog from Wiener Puppies Home (online or in person), the purchaser understands and agrees to all of the terms and conditions of this agreement.

The customer is the sole beneficiary of the following restricted health guarantee. This agreement protects both the buyer and seller and solely covers the cost of the dog.

To be eligible for the limited guarantees outlined below, the buyer must have this puppy inspected by a licensed veterinarian within the first 48 hours of purchase. The 48-hour period begins when the puppy is dispatched (if shipped by aircraft carrier) or when the puppy is received in person from Wiener Puppies Home.

At the time of purchase, this puppy is assured to be in good health and temperament. If a fault is discovered, the purchaser must tell the seller on the day of the initial exam in order to file a replacement claim. There is no assurance on issues that are not diagnosed by a veterinarian. If a fault is in issue, the seller has the right to a second evaluation from a licensed veterinarian of his or her choosing, and that second opinion will take precedence over the first.

If the puppy is discovered to have a major congenital defect (a defect that would prevent the dog from living a normal pet life), he must be returned within 24 hours of the exam, and a replacement puppy (of equal or lesser value) will be made available, provided the seller receives written confirmation of the specific defect from the examining veterinarian. If the buyer decides to retain the puppy, he or she is responsible for all medical expenses.

Common difficulties or problems caused by the purchaser (such as an accident, sickness, or immunizable disease) prior to the veterinarian’s exam are not guaranteed by the seller and are the purchaser’s responsibility. We are not liable for any connected expenditures, such as veterinarian fees, treatment costs, shipping fees, transportation costs, or mental anguish.

This puppy is being offered as a pet only; no guarantees are made about adult size, color, quality, fertility, or future progeny. This agreement will be null and void if adequate care and health management (including a healthy food and frequent veterinarian services) are not provided.

Health Guarantee: At the time of sale, we promise that our Dachshund puppies are in good health. Every puppy is given a full medical checkup, together with vaccines and deworming, to make sure there are no known health problems. We provide you access to all pertinent medical data and paperwork so you may be fully informed and confident in the welfare of your new pet.

Genetic Promise: We know how important it is to produce puppies who are both healthy and sound genetically. Even though we choose our breeding stock very carefully, genetic problems might sometimes arise. As such, we provide a genetic guarantee for a predetermined amount of time. Within the guarantee period, if a hereditary health problem develops, we will work with you to find an acceptable solution. Depending on the situation, this might mean a refund or a replacement puppy.
